Toyota litigation takes a turn
A Los Angeles judge has ruled that, instead of the wrongful death case he originally intended to bring to trial first in the battle over sudden unintended acceleration in Toyota cars and trucks, the jury will hear a consumer action filed against the automaker. That move will significantly shift the nature of the evidence that will begin playing out in November.
