TomorrowNow Agrees To Fraud, Criminal Copyright Charges In Oracle Software Case

OAKLAND, Calif. – Shortly after a California federal judge tossed a $ 1.3 billion jury award against SAP AG Inc. in a copyright case related to software misappropriation, SAP’s subsidiary TomorrowNow Inc., which is responsible for much of the infringing behavior, filed a stipulation on Sept. 8 pleading guilty to 11 counts of unauthorized access to a protected computer and one count of criminal copyright infringement (United States of America v. TomorrowNow Inc., No. 11-0642, N.D. Calif.).
