Tennessee Appeals Panel: Construction Firm Not Liable For Man’s Auto Accident

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Court of Appeals on Jan. 10 upheld summary judgment for a defendant in an automobile accident action, concluding that the construction company that performed road work on a highway where a man crashed his vehicle owed no duty to the plaintiff (Joshua Lee v. Lyons Construction Company Inc., No. E2010-02388-COA-R3-CV, Tenn. App.; 2012 Tenn. App. LEXIS 13).
