Thanks so very much for making this video. It has been shocking to me that none of our legal officers is seeking to bring justice to the men who sought to rule by ego alone. They have been nothing short of treasonous in their attempt to usurp all power to do with our resources what they will with not consideration for anyone but themselves and their wealth.

This week the Italian justice system just indicted our CIA operatives who abducted and sent an untried Italian citizen to Egypt through rendition to be tortured.
It’s a shame that a foreign government has to be the conscience of a distracted, ignorant or blindly fearful people here in the U.S.

I understand the feeling. There are a lot of angry people ho feel the same way about the terrorists who would take innocent life. “They’re evil so whatever we do to them is justified.”
But no matter how evil an enemy… the Good guys don’t torture.
We should be better than that.
Truly honorable and decent principles are worth dying for.

I pretty much have your song memorized and I understand the public faces we see and abhor; the booty these MANY public pirates scoop up is just a pittance compared to those faceless, soul-less aholes behind the scenes pulling their strings. Yeah, I’m a real fan of Dylan’s music. But, in the case if that particular lyric you shared, I’ve gotta say in this instance… crime most definitely DOES have a face. Check the song and video again and we can see the face of outrageously immoral and undeniable crime.

I take messages from the Bible, as well as faith, I resent it for being used by many conservatives, or anyone, to support what they do.
Don’t look too closely at that Bible or you may be very disappointed. The OT has some pretty bad stuff in it, supposedly condoned by God, but with all of the omissions, contradictions, and mistakes in the book (read Bart Ehrman) I think it’s just a history book written by the victors and largely inaccurate.
What a great video, I keep coming back and playing it. It ends with a great moral, we can do better than that. It runs through my head sometimes as I’m walking around, makes me think of things I can do better. Great song, Cool guy!

I hope this won’t be considered “off topic”. My main thrust here is; war is wrong; torture is wrong!! Personally, I have lived my entire life in peaceful coexistence with people of various religious, racial, ethinic backgrounds. Do any of the MASSES really want to slaughter each other?? NO!!
