Panel Creates MDL 2308, Consolidating Injury Cases Against Skechers USA

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation (JPMDL) on Dec. 19 ordered the consolidation of all federally filed personal injury cases against sneaker manufacturer Skechers for injuries that plaintiffs claim were caused by the rocker bottom of its “Shape-Ups” toning shoes (In re: Skechers Toning Shoe Products Liability Litigation, JPMDL, MDL No. 2308).
