Missouri Appeals Panel Affirms Decision To Dismiss Case For Lack Of Affidavit

ST. LOUIS – The Eastern District Missouri Court of Appeals on Jan. 17 upheld summary judgment for a hospital named as the defendant in a medical malpractice action, concluding that the trial court was correct to dismiss the claims for the plaintiff’s lack of a health care affidavit (Amanda Crider v. Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital Inc., No. ED96907, Mo. App., E.D.; 2012 Mo. App. LEXIS 37).
