Los Angeles Retirement Fund Named Lead Plaintiff In Gentiva Investor Suit

BROOKLYN, NY – In an opinion made available on Jan. 30, a federal judge in New York overseeing a securities class action lawsuit against a health care provider and certain of its executive officers named the Los Angeles City Employees’ Retirement System (LACERS) as lead plaintiff, ruling that the shareholder meets all statutory requirements for serving as lead plaintiff (Steve Endress, et al. v. Gentiva Health Services, Inc., et al., No. 10-5064, E.D. N.Y.; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 9177).
