Judge Finds Claims In Predatory Lending Class Action Suit Need Amending

NEWARK, N.J. – A federal judge in New Jersey on Jan. 27 dismissed without prejudice a couple’s class action lawsuit accusing TD Bank and a John Doe defendant of engaging in predatory lending practices, ruling that the plaintiffs’ allegations failed to sufficiently state claims for relief (Maria Gutierrez, et al. v. TD Bank, et al., No. 11-5533, D. N.J.; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 10724).
