Judge Denies Woman’s Request For Restraining Order Blocking Sale Of Condominium

SAN JOSE, Calif. – A federal judge in California on Jan. 23 denied a woman’s ex parte motion for a temporary restraining order (TRO) and a preliminary injunction barring the sale or transfer of a condominium she lost to foreclosure after finding that her request was procedurally defective and that her claim under the Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act (UFTA) lacked merit (Angela DeLong v. Bank of America, N.A., et al., No. 11-cv-06388-LHK, N.D. Calif.; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 7516).
