Judge Affirms Ruling Barring Disclosure Of Nonparty Patient Records

CINCINNATI – A federal judge in Ohio on July 7 overruled objections from a plaintiff in an employment discrimination lawsuit to a magistrate judge’s ruling denying her motion to compel the records of nonparty patients after finding that the information was privileged (Vicki Kapp v. Jewish Hospital Inc., et al., No. 09-CV-949, S.D. Ohio; 2011 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 73143).
