JPMDL Panel Selects Southern California Federal Judge In Toyota Litigation

SAN DIEGO – A federal judge in Southern California was chosen April 9 by the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation (JPMDL) to preside over more than 200 lawsuits filed against Toyota based on sudden acceleration problems associated with vehicles manufactured by the automaker (In Re: Toyota Motor Corp. Unintended Acceleration, Marketing, Sales Practices and Product Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2151, JPMDL).
