Florida Court Affirms Reduction Of Home Health Care For Autistic Child
MIAMI – The Third District Florida Court of Appeal on Jan. 25 affirmed a trial court reduction of home health care hours for an autistic child, saying the services are not “medically necessary” under the state’s Medicaid rules (Virginia Cabello v. Agency for Health Care Administration, et al., No. 3D11-1084, Fla. App., 3rd Dist.; 2012 Fla. App. LEXIS 971).
