Federal Judge Dismisses Suit Arising From Overseas Calls To American Express

SAN FRANCISCO – A federal judge in California on Jan. 27 dismissed a case in which the plaintiff, an American Express cardholder, sued the company after her calls to its support centers were transferred overseas without her knowledge (Pickman v. American Express Company, et al., No. 11-05326, N.D. Calif.; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 9662).
