Federal Judge: Debtors Not Required To Commit Tax Returns To Chapter 13 Plan
MILWAUKEE – A federal judge in Wisconsin on Nov. 23 ruled that a debtor couple was not required to commit federal income tax refunds to their Chapter 13 payment plan, despite the trustee’s contention that they were required to do so when they modified their plan (Thomas King v. Michael Robenhorst, et al., No. 11-573, Chapter 13, E.D. Wis.; 2011 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 135688).
