I got it and felt completely fine. But one girl in my school, her legs stopped working and had to be brought out on a wheelchair, but that’s most likely just a coincidence.
I got the shot. I was sick the next day. With wheezing and chest pains.
Perhaps people shouldn’t take the SEASONAL vaccine either, as I know of many who have been VERY ILL after having this shot.
Some are on the ‘vunerable’ list, such as for diabetes, heart trouble and other conditions.
WHY are all these people falling ill (some with diagnosed swine flu) just after having the seasonal jab.
Perhaps we have been looking at the WRONG vaccine as regards to safety?

it has nothing to do with you falling over with tremors or getting the flu from the shot. its alot deeper than that. the effects usually go unoticed until they try a new vaccine and then 200 people in a 3rd world country die from testing.

This is how the media affects our lives!!! The entire population in the US ( 304,059,724 – Jul 2008) will have the opportunity to get two doses of the H1N1 VACCINE!!! While other countries don’t even have enough for their children! Please people stop over reacting and start being glad to live in this country. In my country Peru, only 7 million doses will be available for around 28 million people.

This is stupid. Just another instance of mania spawned by the media. First they started out by making a huge deal of the flu itself; scaring us with statistics and death counts. Now they are trying to say that vaccines are not safe. I don’t know about you guys, but if you enjoy being in bed for a week then go ahead with your paranoia. I for one am now vaccinated and very happy about it.

Congratulations, you are one of the lucky people that got a mild case. Using your personal experience as a refutation of the actual flu mortality statistics is the epitome of dumb. Also, you say that “they” are over-hyping it. Who is “they”, exactly? No one’s asking you to cower in fear from the almighty influenza, just don’t construct silly straw man arguments like “they’re fearmongering!” when in reality, health authorities are simply giving the public good advice.
