Credit Card Expenses Could Be Smoking Gun if Rothstein Partner Is Indicted

Stuart Rosenfeldt has insisted he knew nothing of the $1.2 billion Ponzi scheme perpetrated by his law partner Scott Rothstein, but sources say Rosenfeldt is likely to be indicted. Records of $1 million of charges Rosenfeldt made on the firm’s credit card could be the smoking gun. How far prosecutors will go in seeking charges against principals of the firm may have to do with Rothstein, who has said he is cooperating in hopes of saving his soul, but most likely will be motivated to reduce his 50-year prison sentence.
