Chevron Denied Motion To Attach $ 18 Billion Judgment In Lago Agrio Litigation
NEW YORK – Chevron Corp.’s Jan. 3 motion in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York to attach the proceeds from the $ 18 billion judgment against it entered in a Lago Agrio, Ecuador, court was denied Jan. 6 (Chevron Corp. v. Steven R. Donziger, et al., No. 11-691, S.D. N.Y.).
