California Court Affirms Costs Award For Apartment Management Company

LOS ANGELES – A California appeals court on Aug. 16 affirmed a ruling awarding an apartment management company costs as the prevailing party in a lawsuit filed by a tenant who sought damages related to mold, but denied the company’s request for sanctions (Beth Robbins v. Essex Management Corp., et al., No. B221857, Calif. App., 2nd Dist.; Div. 4; 2011 Cal. App. Unpub. LEXIS 6152).
