    Quick question about the vacuum packing of the gauze and bandages……Is there a way to quickly access the contents when they are vacuum packed or do you have to use a knife/scissors in order to gain access to the contents? Thanks! Great videos and very useful! I have been working on building a level II for on duty use! Thanks again!

    Vacuum packing the gauze is a great idea. Gives you much more blood stopping capability for the space that they take up, which I think will be helpful in the long run (also, you’ll be able to do more dressing changes, particularly helpful if several days from help).

    @Bonstergirl Very true.

    Very well put, ground rules up front. I hope that will keep the hall monitors from going on about what is right and what is sterile.Your videos are very well done and explained. Happy to see you doing kits again.

    Fun stuff. I think you should do a video with your giant collection of bags and containers that you’ve assembled over the years. lol.

    Great vid Doc. Thanks for all your hard work. Between you and Nutnfancy the hard part in meeting my EFA(Emergency First-Aid) needs have been met. Thx again

  • JAWmankato says:

    Good stuff Doc as always. I do have a question about superglue though. Does it cause damage to tissue? Maybe a quick video some day about how to apply it would be cool.

  • rmojo23 says:

    Thanks again for all your hard work. I love the detail you put in all your kits. Can’t wait to see the rest!

  • Bonstergirl says:

    Ya know, in the long run, puting gauze pads in vacuum packaging might keep them cleaner than their original paper packaging. If the original packaging gets worn it probably won’t maintain its integrity anyway.

  • Tacticalgearhead says:

    For FAK sake Doc, I got a Level 3 FAK, it’s a Level 1 trauma center that I vacuum sealed just for you LOL.

  • AndrewXAnarchy says:

    I think I’ve got a good FAKing idea!
