5th Circuit Finds Man Was Properly Notified Of Foreclosure

NEW ORLEANS – A Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel on Jan. 31 affirmed a summary judgment award given to Wells Fargo Bank N.A. and its co-defendant in a foreclosure action after finding that they presented sufficient evidence that the plaintiff was properly notified that his property was being foreclosed upon and that it was sold during a foreclosure sale (David Mason Montgomery v. Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., et al., No. 11-10570, 5th Cir.).
